Braw Presents: A Braw Christmas Bash at The Banshee! 17th December!

FB event - http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=142353795816883

Vom
Pummeling goth-noise-rock from the west coast. Vom in the live context conjure up some pretty ‘far out’ frequencies, reminiscent of Ramleh, Swans, Killing Joke and Scream-era Siouxie and the Banshees having a punch up over the secret santa. A Braw festive favourite and rare treat for us pie munchers, don’t forget that the diet starts in January!

Culver / Fordell Research Unit
A trouser filling collaboration from two of the heaviest drone acolytes in the north. Culver’s Lee Stokoe (also of Skullflower, Inseminoid, Marzuraan etc) will add a certain Gateshead cheer/beard to the proceedings, whilst stoner scrooges Burnett and Smith defibrillate some energy out of their beer soaked equipment. Goes well with eggnog.

Messiah Complex
Featuring members of one of the best hardcore bands in the country - Sufferinfuck. Imagine if Bastard Noise came from West Lothian and had an unhealthy attraction to David Koresh and early Cronenberg films. They’re not Messiahs; they’re just very naughty boys!

Red Rib
King Rib and Red Death goose one another for you aural excitement. Expect old keyboards, side partings and warm cardigans aplenty. Similar to having a stocking filled with static and whisky macs.
